Word from Our Principal during Covid-19 Lockdown

Dear Induschampions,
Greetings from your Principal!

Hope you all had received my last letter. In an effort to remain connected with you all, I am writing my second letter to you. I know you all are staying safe by staying at home. It is difficult to stay locked for so many days, not being able to play or meet your friends or not being able to come to school. But it’s the need of the hour.

It is our responsibility to show courage in such difficult times and do our bit. Be those soldiers in your household and neighborhood to combat the virus by being role models and pass on the message to people on how to stay safe. Here, I specifically implore you to pass on the message and not go out and meet anyone personally. Remain indoors only.

So many people are risking their lives to keep us safe like doctors, nurses, policemen, some community helpers, etc. We have to respect and thank them and not allow the spread of this deadly disease.
So today, let’s contribute a little and become young soldiers of the nation who pledge to remain indoors and keep our families indoors to ensure their safety. Keep washing your hands, wear masks, sanitize your home regularly.

Some tasks are being posted on our Social media platforms. Keep yourself busy doing those activities, read lot of books, watch Discovery channel, play chess, carom, scrabble and other board games but don’t go out.
Don’t become difficult with your parents and help them at home to do house chores. It doesn’t matter if you are a boy or girl but you have to share tasks with your parents. I know my students are very responsible and I would love to hear from you all on how you helped your parents when we meet.

Make a diary and write your experiences every day, of anything you see around you, of how you spent your time indoors, of what all books you read, and they will become your memories. And I am sure we will have lots to share when we meet. Enter your daily self- feedbacks on how you spent your day. But, most importantly, be truthful of what you write. I want you to write about what you did and not create stories.

Tomorrow we start with a new Month so your diary starts tomorrow from 01 April 2020. I want you all to write daily date-wise before you go to bed. Those who are small and cannot write big sentences can just write words or small sentences or make drawings and can take help from parents to write.

To my parents I would like to say that I understand, this is a difficult time for you, while you have work from home and have no household help….but I think we all are evolving and if we stay calm, we would definitely come out as a better person and parents, because as much you are scared and worried about the current situation, the kids too are worried. You have to take care that they stay healthy in mind and spirit so keep them busy and be their friends.

Such things happen once in decades and we have seen this in our lifetimes…..when the whole world has stopped, when everyone is staying at home, all schools, colleges, factories, companies closed, all trains resting and not running, all flights grounded, whole transport system shut down, borders of cities, states, countries closed … never had it happened. This in itself laments the seriousness of the matte……and we don’t know when we shall resume a normal routine. Even for all of us, this all is new, when we hear that Earth is under maintenance……and we are first hand witness to this situation which will soon be a part of our History books.

I am sure we will have lot to teach to our coming generations and many stories to share of how we remained indoors and fought with the virus. Let’s support our Government by observing and respecting the Curfew and Lockdown. They are doing all this to keep us safe. Today I know we all are staying isolated but we stand united in this crisis. Let’s unite in isolation and fight this crisis.
All we need is patience and Time…
As rightly said by Joyce Meyer…Patience is not an ability to wait…but to keep a good attitude while waiting…
Let’s be patient and positive…this will all pass…
We are planning to start academics through school app and shall update you soon on this.
I miss you all and we shall meet soon but for now, thank you for cooperating with the nation.
Stay safe and Stay home! And in your Prayers, keep sending healing to this WORLD and EARTH.

Educationally yours
