Hindi Diwas, is celebrated every year on September 14, to mark the importance of the day when our Country India’s Constituent Assembly adopted Hindi as the official language of India. Hindi is written in the Devanagri script. It is one of the official languages of the Union Government, with the other being English.
India is celebrating every year Hindi Diwas on 14 September to spread Hindi in every region, as requested by Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti. Apart from this, 14 September is also the birthday of Rajendra Singh, who worked tirelessly towards making Hindi the official language of India.
Students at ICS too celebrated Hindi Diwas. The importance and purpose of this day was explained by the teachers. Few students presented a speech in Hindi. Teachers also listed out interesting facts about Hindi.”
